Our Vision at Church of the King is Reaching People, Building Lives. We seek to extend a hand to those in our region with the life-giving message of Jesus Christ. Our passion is that people live the life God intends for them.
Our Mission is found in The Great Commission. The Bible commissions us in the following verses:
"And He [Jesus] said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature". Mark 16:15.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age". Matthew 28:19-20.
Our Goal at Church of the King is people-focused and consists of making a fully devoted follower of Christ - a disciple.
Disciples are first: Evangelized, helping them to be Established in the faith through Water Baptism and the PATHWAY, Equipped through sound biblical teaching in Weekend Services and Small Groups, and Expanded to reach the life God intends for them to live by using their gifts to help others.
